Job Description
The company are a well-established manufacturer of high-end products in the Elland area and are looking to for an experienced CNC Miller to join them due to continued growth.
The CNC Miller will be responsible for:
* Setting and operating a number of multi axis machining centres
* Programming from scratch and editing (Siemens and Haas controls)
* Working directly from engineering drawings
* Advising on possible means of process improvement within the machine shop and other areas of the company
The CNC Miller will have:
* IDEAL NOT ESSENTIAL: Formal qualifications within a relevant discipline, Mechanical Engineering/Machining (Apprenticeship, NVQ, BTEC, City & Guilds Level 3 etc.)
* Worked as a CNC Miller, Machinist Engineer, or Technician previously within a precision engineering or machine shop environment
* Worked with Mazak and Hass would be adventurous
What is offer to the CNC Miller:
* Salary £16-18p/h dependant on experience
* 7.00am-5.00pm Monday to Thursday – 4 Day working Week
* Permanent opportunity
* 31 holidays including bank holidays
