Title: Offline CNC Miller Programmer
Location: Cambridge
Salary: £18.00 - £20.00 per hour
Shift: Days

An opportunity has become available for an experienced 3-5 Axis Offline CNC Miller Programmer to join an engineering business which specialises in medical equipment machining. You will be working on one-off and small batch projects machining components manufactured from aluminium and plastics.

Offline CNC Miller Programmer Responsibilities:

Program, set and operate 3-5 Axis CNC milling machines
Online programming using Heidenhain and Siemens control systems
Offline programming using Hypermill and FeatureCam software
Manufacture bespoke and low-volume precision components
Carry out in-process inspection and quality checks to ensure components meet specificationOffline CNC Miller Programmer Experience:

Previous experience programming, setting and operating 3-5 Axis CNC milling machines
Strong control experience using Heidenhain and Siemens
Proven offline programming experience using Hypermill and FeatureCam software
Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings
