CNC Milling Machinist - Permanent Position
Location: North East Scotland
Hours: 39 hours per week + regular paid overtime at 1.5x
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Employment Type: Permanent
About the Role
A long-established and well-equipped precision engineering company is looking to add a skilled CNC Milling Machinist to its team. This permanent position offers long-term security, varied and challenging work, and a positive working environment with modern machinery and supportive leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Program and operate CNC milling machines using Heidenhain controls
Interpret detailed technical and engineering drawings
Manufacture high-precision components to tight tolerances
Work efficiently and safely in a busy, subcontract engineering environment
Desirable (Not Essential)
Experience using Fusion 360 for programming
Candidate Requirements
Time-served CNC milling background
Confident programming with Heidenhain controls
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Experience in a sub-contract or low-volume precision machining environment preferred
Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work well as part of a team
