Job Title: CNC Miller Programmer (Nights)
Location: Tamworth
Shift: 4 day week - Monday to Thursday (Nights)
Pay: £49,000 DOE

Experience
Extensive experience with Heidenhain programming on 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC machines, including machine setup and operation in a precision engineering environment.
Proficient in modern CAD/CAM software, particularly Edgecam, and committed to applying "Best Practice" manufacturing methodologies.
Skilled in creating and proving out new CNC production programs to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Capable of running proven programs, adjusting work coordinates, and correcting errors as needed.
Collaborates closely with the Production Engineer to optimize designs for manufacturability (DFM).
Actively contributes to continuous improvement by developing and refining processes, tools, and techniques to adopt the latest technologies.
Demonstrates a proactive, "can-do" attitude and consistently functions as a reliable team player.
Effectively handles constraints and seeks support from peers or the Manufacturing team when necessary.
Promotes a high standard of housekeeping and supports 5S principles across the manufacturing environment.Candidate
Minimum 3 years' operating 3, 4 and 5 Axis Machining Centre's
The ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
Participates and supports continuous improvement teams and other working groups.
To be able to pre-set tooling and fixtures from tool layout. Take tool length offsets and recognize when tooling requires replacing due to wear or breakage.
