We are working with a reputable client based in Luton (LU3) who require a
CNC Miller Programmer / Setter Operator to join their team.
The position is a permanent role paying £42,000 - £50,000 per annum (DOE)
Working Hours:
Monday - Thursday 6am - 4pm or 8am - 6pm (40 hours per week)
28 days holiday (including bank holidays) + Peoples Pension.
The ideal candidate will have experience in working within an engineering environment. The right candidate will have excellent CNC programming and setting experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Responsible for programming and setting up to 5 axis machinery
* Reading and interpreting technical information
* Writing programmes from scratch using G and M codes (online and offline)
* Familiar with managing and operating Fanuc controls
* Producing components to tight tolerances
* Ability to use a range of precision measuring instruments
* Quality checking components
* Other general duties when required
Key Requirements:
* Minimum of 2 years experience within a similar role
* Must be PC literate
* Excellent attention to detail
