Salary: £21.28 – £23.94 per hour (including 33% shift premium)
Hours:
*
Monday – Wednesday: 15:30 – 01:30
*
Thursday: 15:30 – 23:30
Overtime: Weekends and Fridays paid at x1.5

MoveATech is recruiting for a skilled CNC Miller / Setter to join a specialist precision engineering manufacturer in Portsmouth. This role is ideal for an experienced machinist with a strong background in CNC milling operations and precision component manufacture.
Key Responsibilities
*
Set up and operate CNC milling machines (Bridgeport/Heidenhain controls)
*
Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications accurately
*
Use precision measuring tools to maintain tight tolerances
*
Document work by completing production and quality logs
*
Work safely and efficiently in a machine shop environment
*
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow
*
Support day-to-day operations and maintain production efficiency
Skills & Experience Required
*
Proven experience as a CNC Miller / Setter
*
Strong knowledge of Heidenhain controls
*
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
*
Experience using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, verniers, gauges)
Desirable Experience
*
Experience with other CNC machines, including lathes or EDM machines
*
Experience in a specialist precision engineering environment
