Job Description
We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled CNC Router Operative to join our team in Tamworth. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced production environment where quality and safety are paramount. Our products serve vital commercial sectors including emergency response vehicles and utility services. Key Responsibilities: Operate CNC router machines safely and efficiently Maintain a high standard of quality across all manufactured parts Use a variety of tools including hand tools, powered tools, and pneumatic tools Perform basic QA checks using fabrication drawings Some forklift (FLT) duties included (training provided if necessary) Ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures at all times Assist with production duties as required Ideal Candidate Will Have: Engineering or mechanical background Experience with CNC-based equipment (e.g. routers, plasma cutters, laser machines, milling machines) Ability to read and interpret basic fabrication drawings Good attention to detail and commitment to quality Team player with a positive and proactive attitude Awareness of Health & Safety in a manufacturing environment Overhead crane experience (desirable – training provided) FLT experience (advantageous) Full UK driving licence (advantageous) Physically fit and able-bodied due to the manual nature of the role Experience working in a production environment (advantageous) Flexible and willing to work overtime when required What We Offer: Full training provided Competitive hourly rate Supportive team environment Opportunities for overtime Long-term career development opportunitiesBefore You Apply
