CNC Operator
Cardiff
Permanent
Circa £30,000 + SHIFT ALLOWANCE
3 shift pattern Monday to Friday
My client who is well renowned for their innovation, design and manufacturing skills, have an excellent reputation and are looking to add strength to their team in the form of a CNC Operator.
With excellent pay and benefits, The Production Operator is responsible for machining parts to a high specification within specified tolerances.
As a CNC Operator you will:
Set and run CNC machines to include Lathes and VMC machines
Ensure safety within the work area
Meet quality standards
Operate other manual equipmentWhat you'll need to succeed:
Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship OR NVQ Level 3 or relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of CNC manufacturing techniques.
Ability to set and run either milling or turning CNC machinery.
Good numeracy and literacy skills.
Ability to use measuring equipment accurately and repeatedly.
Experience running manual machines including lathes, drills and grinding not essential but beneficial.
