CNC Operator – Nights | Permanent (4-Day Week, Monday to Thursday)
Location: Leicester
Shift: Monday to Thursday, 8:00pm – 6:00am
Pay Rate: From £15.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Permanent
Overtime: Available
Start Date: Immediate
The Role:
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering company in Leicester for a permanent CNC Operator to join their night shift team. Key Responsibilities:
* Operate CNC turning or milling machines to meet production and customer specifications
* Select tooling, fixtures, and programmes as per job setup sheets
* Produce high-quality components within specified tolerances
* Use various measuring tools to inspect parts for accuracy
* Read and work from technical engineering drawings
* Adhere to all company health, safety, and environmental procedures
Requirements:
* Proven experience operating CNC machinery
* Knowledge of FANUC or similar CNC control systems
* Strong attention to detail
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
