Job Description
A rapidly expanding manufacturing company located in Clacton-On-Sea are looking for a CNC Operator to join their team.
This will be a temporary - permanent position, paying up to £12.98 per hour.
Overview of the role:
This role involves set up and operating of CNC machinery, whilst interpreting CAD drawings.
What does the position involve?
As a CNC Operator, you will need to read and interpret engineering drawings
Use LEAN and continuous improvement methods to aid the manufacturing department
Work within a team to meet production deadlines, whilst maintaining accurate records
Ensure that health & safety standards are adhered to at all times
Collaborate with R & D, fabrication and operations
Candidate requirements:
NVQ, Diploma or apprenticeship within engineering or similar
Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills are required
Willingness to support across various departments within the business
Experience in CNC Operation and CAM programming with Autodesk or Solidworks is advantageous
