Job Description
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established automotive components manufacturer based in Wickford, who are looking for an experienced CNC Operator to join their night shift team.
This is a great opportunity for someone with CNC operating experience who is looking to develop their skills in a supportive and efficient workshop environment.
This will be an initial 3 months assignment but could go longer!
Position Details:
Location: Wickford
Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00pm to 6:15am
Pay: £16.77 to £17.96 per hour, depending on experience
Benefits: Free on-site parking, stable night shift, long-term opportunity
This is an ongoing temporary role with a view of going permamentKey Responsibilities:
Operating CNC machinery to produce high-quality components
Reading and working from engineering drawings
Conducting quality checks on your own work
Supporting your team as required
Requirements:
Previous experience operating CNC machines
Ability to read engineering drawings
A proactive approach and willingness to learn
