Location: Gloucester

Contract: Permanent | Full-Time

Shift: Day Shift

Salary: £34,000 – £42,000 DOE

Are you an experienced CNC Programmer looking for a days-based role where you can take ownership of programming and support production in a busy engineering environment? Would you like to work in a stable business with modern equipment and long-term opportunities?

A well-established manufacturing company is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join their team. This is a great opportunity for a CNC Programmer who enjoys working on precision components and improving machining processes.

Role Responsibilities:

Create and edit CNC programmes 

Work from engineering drawings to produce precision components

Support machine set-up and prove-out of new jobs

Select tooling and optimise programmes to improve efficiency

Troubleshoot machining and programming issues

Work closely with production teams to meet deadlines

Maintain programme documentation and version control

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

The Person:

Experience working as a CNC Programmer

Knowledge of CNC controls (Fanuc, Mazak or similar)

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

Experience with offline programming beneficial but not essential

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
