We are seeking an experienced Senior CNC Miller Programmer to program, set and operate complex 3, 4 and 5-axis CNC machining centres, producing high-precision components to tight engineering tolerances.
The ideal candidate will have experience with Fanuc, Haas, Heidenhain, Mazatrol and GE2000 controls, with hands-on experience using machines including Haas, Yasda, Mazak, Deckel Maho and MHP machining centres. DESIRABLE.
Responsibilities include programming, setting and operating CNC machinery, interpreting engineering drawings and CAD data, selecting tooling and machining strategies, carrying out first-off inspections and optimising programmes to improve cycle times and production efficiency.
Experience within aerospace, oil & gas, precision engineering or cutting tool manufacturing would be desirable. Experience with fixture and jig design, Renishaw probing and process optimisation would also be advantageous.
