CNC Programmer Overview:
We are looking for an experienced CNC Programmer to join our team. This hands-on role involves programming and setting Mazak CNC machines, ensuring parts are manufactured to high standards and tight tolerances.
Key Responsibilities:
Programming and setting Mazak CNC Turn/Mill machines using Mazatrol and Mazak Smooth controls
Interpreting and working from detailed engineering drawings
Using a range of measuring equipment to ensure parts meet specification
Ensuring efficient setup and cycle times
Performing quality checks and making necessary adjustments Maintaining a clean and safe working
environment
Requirements:
Proven experience programming and setting Mazak CNC Turn/mill machines
Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances
Confident using measuring tools (e.g. Vernier's, micrometers, gauges)
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team
