Job Description
CNC Sliding Head Programmers, Setters, rugby area
About the Role:
You will be joining a busy and modern precision engineering environment, working with sliding head CNC lathes (Citizen and Star machines).
Location: Rugby
Salary: £22 to £24 per hour
Hours: 4pm to 1am
Contract: Full Time & Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
* Programming, setting, and operating CNC sliding head lathes
* Working from engineering drawings to tight tolerances
* Conducting first-off inspections to maintain high-quality standards
* Maintaining high levels of productivity and precision
* Continuously improving skills in a supportive and dynamic team environment
Requirements:
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in CNC sliding head turning
* Fully competent in programming FANUC control systems
* Ability to work independently and carry out first-off inspections
* Quick learner with excellent skills retention
* Self-motivated, dependable, and a strong team player
