CNC Programmer
Salary: £35360 per year
Hours: Monday–Thursday 08:00–17:00, Friday 08:00–14:00 (40 hours per week)

About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced CNC Programmer to join a fast-paced and forward-thinking manufacturing environment. You’ll be creating CNC programs using Alphacam software, converting detailed engineering drawings and solid models into production-ready programs, and running first-off checks for accuracy.
This is a hands-on role where attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and technical expertise are key.
Key Responsibilities
* Convert DXF, DWG, STEP, STL & IGES files into CNC programs
* Translate engineering drawings into accurate production dimensions
* Produce and check first-off runs on CNC machines
* Troubleshoot and resolve CNC machine issues
* Document progress and prepare products for assembly
* Maintain high standards of Health & Safety at all times
Skills & Experience Needed
* Proficient in CAD software and CNC Routers
* Strong knowledge of Alphacam (or similar programming software)
* Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings
* Confident working with metric measurements
* Strong problem-solving skills and technical mindset
* Excellent communication skills and a team-focused approach
* Good time management, reliability, and flexibility to support production needs
