Job Description
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a forward-thinking and rapidly growing manufacturing business that has recently invested in new five-axis CNC technology.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced CNC Programmer who can bring both technical expertise and a strategic mindset to the machining process.
The package:
* Salary up to £50,000 (depending on experience)
* 10% pension contribution
* Day shifts: 7:30am–4:00pm Monday to Thursday, 7:00am–12:00pm Friday
What’s involved:
* Programming and optimising five-axis CNC machines (both online and offline).
* Developing and refining fixtures and jigs to maximise machine efficiency.
* Transferring existing parts and programs from older CNC machines to the new five-axis platform.
* Reviewing and improving current machining strategies to achieve best-in-class performance.
* Applying a broad, eclectic understanding of machining principles to tackle complex challenges.
What we’re looking for:
* Proven experience in five-axis CNC programming.
* Strong skills in both offline and online programming (software knowledge is flexible – our client is open minded).
* Practical expertise in fixture/jig design and setup.
* A driven, detail-oriented professional who wants to make a genuine impact on machine efficiency and output.
