Job Title: CNC Programmer Location: Wolverhampton Job Type: Full-Time (Temp-To-Perm) Salary: £14-£15ph Dependant on Experience Start Date: ASAP About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented CNC Programmer to join our team in Wolverhampton. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CAD/CAM programming, with proven expertise in 2D and 3D modelling. You will be responsible for creating, modifying, and optimizing CNC programs to ensure efficient and precise manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities: Develop and optimize CNC programs using CAD/CAM software for milling, turning, and multi-axis machining. Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications to produce accurate 2D and 3D models. Set up and operate CNC machines when required to validate programs. Collaborate with design engineers and production teams to improve manufacturing processes. Conduct test runs and troubleshoot issues to ensure quality and efficiency. Maintain documentation of programs, tooling, and setup sheets. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and company procedures. Requirements: Proven experience as a CNC Programmer in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, Mastercam, Fusion 360). Strong understanding of 2D and 3D modelling techniques. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Knowledge of various CNC machines and controls (e.g., Fanuc).
