CNC Programmer – Lathe (Hurco / Hypermill / Powermill)

Location: B18
Salary: £16.00 per hour + (depending on experience)
Hours: Mon–Thurs 07:00–16:00 | Fri 07:00–13:00
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

The Role

We are seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Programmer / Turner to join a growing engineering company in B18. You will program, set and operate Hurco CNC lathes and create programs using Hypermill and Powermill.

Key Responsibilities

  * 

    Programming CNC turning operations using Hypermill & Powermill

  * 

    Setting and operating Hurco CNC lathes

  * 

    Interpreting technical drawings

  * 

    Tool selection, offsets and process optimisation

  * 

    Conducting quality checks using measuring instruments

  * 

    Ensuring all work meets required tolerances

Experience Required

  * 

    Proven experience as a CNC Lathe Programmer / Turner

  * 

    Strong background with Hurco lathes

  * 

    Experience using Hypermill and/or Powermill

  * 

    Ability to produce precision components

  * 

    Reliable, motivated and able to work independently
