Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Turner to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that precision and quality are maintained throughout the machining process. As a CNC Turner, you will be responsible for Operating and programming CNC lathe machines to produce high-quality components according to specifications. Fanuc programming is essential.
Duties
* Responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC Lathes.
* Interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine machining requirements.
* Set up tooling and program in Fanuc & ISO.
* Working on small batch quantities.
* Conduct regular inspections of machined components to ensure adherence to quality standards.
* Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and implement improvements in the production process.
* Utilise hand tools and basic maths skills for measuring and adjusting components as needed.
* Minimum 5 years' experience working within a high precision manufacturing background
Experience
The successful candidate will ideally have:
* Proficiency in operating CNC turning machines, with experience in programming being vital.
* Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply logical reasoning in a manufacturing context.
* A commitment to maintaining safety standards while working in a production environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 39.5 per week
Benefits:

* 32 Days Holiday (Including Bank Holiday’s)
Schedule:
* Day shift
* Monday to Thursday 08.00 to 16.30, Friday 08.00 to 16.00.
* Overtime is available.
