Job Description
Proactive Personnel are currently recruiting for a CNC Programmer/Operator who has operated Sliding heads before.
What you’ll do:
* Set, operate, and programme CNC lathes
* Work from drawings to produce high-quality components in metals and plastics
* Carry out in-process inspections to ensure accuracy
What we’re looking for:
* Experience with sliding head CNC lathes (Star preferred) and Fanuc controls
* Knowledge of fixed head turning (Doosan experience is a plus)
* Ability to read technical drawings and work to tight tolerance
Experience:
* CNC Turning: 2 years (required)
* Sliding Head and/or multi-axis/multi-turret experience essential
