We are currently recruiting for a fully skilled CNC Programmer/Setter to join our client based in Swindon.
The Person:
Will be flexible and courteous with a friendly and positive approach. Will be able to produce accurate, high quality components with maximum efficiency and accurately plan the production method & create programmes when advised by Supervisor to customer specifications using available facilities, whilst maintaining discretion, confidentiality and professionalism at all times
You Will Have:
* Experience of CAD / CAM programming
* The ability to use a wide variety of measuring equipment
* The ability to interpret engineering drawings
* The confidence & ability to work under your own initiative
* FANUC and G&M Code experience
* The experience of working to fine tolerances with all materials
Your Responsibilities:
* Ensuring that the machine processes are running at optimum efficiency with correct speeds and feeds
* Competently setting and operating CNC milling machines using operating systems for each machine
* Undertaking any off set or minor changes to programmes to produce quality components to drawing limits/customer specifications
* Planning and specifying tooling requirements for production, including any jigs & fixtures or special cutting tools
* Inspecting, including first-off inspections of others work using CMM equipment
* Working to tight tolerances and checking your own work during production batch runs
* Supporting and advising other employees when required in ensuring all operations are carried out efficiently and accurately to customer requirements, drawing tolerance and specifications
