CNC Router Machinist

Location: Leicester

Salary: Up to £17.00ph

Hours: Monday-Thursday 07:00-16:00, Friday 07:00-13:00

Overtime: Time + ½

Duration: Temp to Perm

The Role:

As a CNC Router Machinist, you will be responsible for producing high‑quality bespoke parts using CNC routing machinery. This is a hands-on manufacturing role working with a variety of materials including MDF, timber and panel-based components.

Key Responsibilities:

Set and operate CNC router machines
Read and interpret technical drawings and cutting lists
Carry out routine machine maintenance and tool changes
Conduct quality checks on finished components
Running pre-programmed jobs and making minor adjustments where required
Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment 

Skills & Experience Required:

Previous experience setting and operating a CNC router in joinery, woodworking, or manufacturing
Ability to read engineering drawings and cutting diagrams
Confident with tooling and machine set up
Strong understanding of woodworking
High attention to detail and a focus on quality
Able to work independently and as part of a team
