CNC Service Engineer - Medical Device Manufacturing
Cork, Ireland
€70,000 - €90,000 + 10% Annual Bonus + Days Shift Pattern (7am-4pm, 39hrs) + Early Finish on Fridays (7am-12pm) + Overtime + Health Insurance + Company Shares + Pension + Career Development + College Upskilling Programmes
Are you an experienced CNC Engineer with knowledge of DMG Mori or Mazak machinery?

I am currently representing a globally recognised manufacturer within the Medical Device industry, producing high-precision medical products supplied worldwide. They are looking to recruit a CNC Service Engineer to support over 200 CNC machines at their Cork manufacturing facility, ensuring production continues to operate at maximum efficiency.
In this role, you will be responsible for servicing, fault-finding and maintaining a large fleet of CNC machines. You will diagnose mechanical and software faults, calibrate equipment and support the manufacturing operation through preventative and reactive maintenance. The company also offers excellent internal development, including funded college programmes and the opportunity to progress into a technical training position in the future.
The successful candidate will have experience servicing DMG Mori or Mazak CNC machinery, possess strong mechatronics knowledge, and be comfortable diagnosing both mechanical and software-related faults.

The Role:
Service and maintain over 200 CNC machines
Diagnose and repair software faults through HMI control systems
Mechanical repairs, alignments and calibration of CNC equipment
Carry out specialised fault diagnosis using alarm codes
Work with G Codes and M Codes to resolve machine issues
The Candidate:
Experience servicing DMG Mori or Mazak CNC machinery
Knowledge of HMI software, alarm codes and fault finding
Strong mechatronics background
Experience with CNC calibration and mechanical repairs
Fluent English
