We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Programmer to join our clients team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for precision manufacturing.
This is a Temporary position that is likely to last for 1-2 months
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and optimise CNC programs for milling and turning operations using CAD/CAM software, especially PowerMill.
* Set up and operate CNC machines, ensuring all tooling is correctly installed and precisely calibrated.
* Accurately read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Use hand tools to assist with assembly and maintenance of machinery when required.
* Conduct inspections of finished components to ensure they meet all quality and specification standards.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CNC programming or machine operation to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
About You:
* Proven experience as a CNC Programmer and Operator.
* Strong mechanical knowledge and a high level of accuracy in producing precision components.
* Proficient in CAD/CAM software, with a focus on PowerMill.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
* Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Hours:
* Monday to Friday: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
