Job Description
A well-established precision engineering company is currently seeking an experienced CNC Setter/Operator to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with a background in manufacturing, particularly within CNC Milling or Turning, to secure a long-term position with a business known for delivering high-quality, bespoke components to specialist industries.
Shifts Available: Fixed or Rotating (Days and Afternoons)
Salary: Up to £35,000 + 10% shift allowance for PM shift
Responsibilities of the CNC Setter/Operator:
Set and operate CNC Milling or Turning machines to produce precision components.
Perform quality checks using appropriate measuring equipment.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and help drive best practice.
Maintain high levels of housekeeping and follow TPM procedures.
Work collaboratively with the wider production team to meet daily targets.We would love to hear from any CNC setter/Operators that have:
Proven experience as a CNC Setter/Operator (Milling or Turning).
Ability to read technical drawings and work to tight tolerances.
Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
