A growing manufacturing customer of ours in Oxfordshire are seeking a skilled CNC Setter/Operator to join their machining department. This is a hands-on role for individuals with strong machine-setting experience, ideally with knowledge of Fusion 365 programming.
Key Responsibilities:
Set and operate CNC milling or turning machines (depending on experience)
Load tooling and run production cycles according to specifications
Work to tight tolerances and high-quality standards
Inspect parts using standard measuring equipment
Interpret engineering drawings and adjust machine offsets as needed
Collaborate with programmers and engineers to optimise machining setups
Requirements:
Previous experience as a CNC Setter/Operator in a precision engineering environment
Familiarity with Fusion 365 or willingness to learn basic programming functions
Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented
