Machine Operator
North Somerset
Full-time, Shift Rotation
A leading global engineering manufacturer based in North Somerset are seeking a number of CNC Operators to join its growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a well-established, high-performance manufacturing environment supporting the aerospace sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate machinery and support manufacturing processes to meet production requirements
Work to stringent aerospace quality standards
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support lean manufacturing practices
Maintain and promote Health & Safety procedures at all times
Required Skills & Experience:
Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Hands-on experience with machine operations such as milling, turning, or CNC
Strong understanding of tolerances, torque, and measurements
Proven ability to work to local quality standards and standardised work procedures
Good numeracy and literacy skills
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Material Flow)
Awareness of Health & Safety practices
Reliable, methodical, and safety-conscious work ethic
