Job Description
A well-established precision engineering firm is seeking an experienced CNC Setter/Operator/Programmer to support the manufacture of high-spec components. The successful candidate will be proficient in milling, turning, and manual lathe work, with strong experience using Haas CNC controls.
Key Responsibilities of a CNC Setter Operator Programmer:
* Set, operate, and program CNC milling and turning machines with Haas controls.
* Machine complex parts from drawings to exacting tolerances.
* Operate manual lathes for custom and low-volume parts.
* Inspect components to ensure conformance to engineering standards.
* Maintain workshop safety, cleanliness, and efficiency.
Essential Skills & Experience of a CNC Setter Operator Programmer:
* Demonstrable experience in CNC machining – milling, turning, and manual work.
* Skilled in programming and setting on Haas CNC machines.
* Comfortable interpreting technical and engineering drawings.
* High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
