JRS Associates have partnered up with an exciting engineering company to recruit a CNC Sliding Head Programmer / Setter to join their growing manufacturing team. This is a long-term opportunity offering excellent work-life balance, strong benefits, and exposure to high-quality precision work.
The Successful CNC Sliding Head Programmer / Setter – Package:

£18.00 – £22.00 per hour (depending on experience)
*
Days shift – 4-day working week
*
Monday – Thursday: 6:45am – 5:00pm
*
Pension: 8% employer contribution / 0% employee
*
Annual bonus: £2,000+
*

Modern, well-equipped machining environment
The Successful CNC Sliding Head Programmer / Setter – Requirements:
*
Experienced programming and setting CNC Sliding Head lathes
*
Confident using Fanuc controls
*
Experience with Star and/or Citizen machines
*
Able to machine a variety of materials including:
*
Soft metals
*
Hard metals
*
Exotic materials
*
Plastics
*
Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances
*
Reliable, detail-focused, and comfortable working in a precision environment
