About the Role
Mazco Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join a precision engineering company based in Newport Pagnell. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled machinist to work with high-quality materials, producing complex precision components across various industries.
Key Responsibilities
*
Operate CNC turning machines to produce precision components to drawing specifications and tolerances
*
Interpret CAD drawings to set up and run machining processes effectively
*
Perform tooling changes and make necessary adjustments for production efficiency
*
Carry out routine maintenance to ensure machines are operating at peak performance
*
Handle materials safely and efficiently throughout production
*
Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
*
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace, following all safety protocols
Skills & Experience
*
Proven experience in CNC turning (minimum 3 years)
*
Proficient in operating FANUC and HAAS controls
*
Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD files
*
Good understanding of tooling, feeds, speeds, and machining principles
*
Excellent mechanical and problem-solving skills
*
Strong mathematical ability for precision measurements and calculations
*
Effective communication skills – both verbal and written
*
A positive, proactive attitude with strong attention to detail
*
Manual turning experience beneficial
