CNC Turner - Aerospace | 4-Day Week + Overtime + Benefits
Location: Southend
We're working with a leading aerospace manufacturer known for precision engineering and high-spec machining for performance-critical industries. Due to continued growth, they're looking to add a skilled CNC Turner to the team - offering a rare 4-day working week, excellent benefits, and a stable, long-term opportunity.
What You'll Be Doing:
Setting and operating both Fixed Head and Sliding Head CNC Lathes
Interpreting engineering drawings to produce complex, high-tolerance components
Working to strict aerospace standards using Fanuc, Heidenhain, and Mitsubishi control panels
Running bar feed machines efficiently in a fast-paced, high-precision environment
(Bonus) Experience with Twin Spindle Twin Turret machines is highly desirableWhat You'll Need:
Proven experience in CNC Turning and Setting - especially with Fanuc controls
Strong understanding of bar feed machine operation
Familiarity with aerospace-grade materials such as Aluminium, Stainless Steel, and Inconel
Bonus points for experience with Doosan, Hardinge, Mori, or Star machines
A sharp eye for detail and a commitment to quality and consistencyWhat's in It for You:
