CNC Turner
£16 - £19 per hour | Ipswich | Permanent | Monday to Friday
An established and reputable engineering company in Ipswich is looking for an experienced CNC Turner to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity for a skilled machinist who takes pride in producing high-quality, precision-engineered components.
Working in a modern, well-equipped workshop, the successful candidate will be part of a team that values technical excellence, continuous improvement, and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities:
Programming, setting, and operating CNC turning centres
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications
Producing high-precision components to exact tolerances
Assisting in process improvements and resolving production issues
Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
Requirements:
Strong CNC turning background (vertical machining experience is a plus, not essential)
Confident in editing and programming at the machine
Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach
Able to work independently as well as part of a team
