Role: CNC Turner
Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire
Salary: £32,000-£36,000 per annum (£16-£18.50 per hour) + overtime
Hours: 7:30-16:30 Monday to Thursday / 13:30 finish Friday
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
The Client:
Interaction Technical have partnered with a leading Precision Engineering firm operating within the motorsport, aerospace, petrochemical and medical industries. Our client, based in Northampton are actively looking to add a CNC Turner & Setter to their team who is looking to train and progress their career within the industry. The Package:
£32,000-£36,000 salary dependent of experience / £16-£18.50 per hour
28 days holiday including Bank Holidays – extra day earned for every year worked (up to 25 days)
Overtime available at 1.33x midweek, 1.5x Saturday and 2x Sundays
Pension Scheme
Ongoing commitment to training and progression – training with online and offline programming for the right candidate
The Role:
Responsible for manufacturing precise components to tight tolerances for the Motorsport, Aerospace, Petrochemical and Medical industries
Work from engineering drawings to set and operate Hardinge and Haas CNC Turning machinery, using Fanuc controls
You will program the Hardinge and Haas machinery, both offline and online programming (training will be provided)
You will be using Fanuc controls on the above machines
The Requirements:
Must be able to work from engineering drawings to set and operate CNC Turning machines with Hardinge / Haas & Fanuc controls (essential)
At least two years’ experience in a similar role (essential)
You will be able to work with a variety of materials and preferably will have experience in either the Motorsport or aerospace industries (advantageous)
Must be able to work well as a team and equally without supervision on CNC machining centres.
