Job Description
CNC Turner - Fanuc / Doosan | Andover | Days OR Nights | £18-£20ph + 30% Shift Uplift
- Location: Andover, Hampshire
- Shifts Available:
- Employment Type: Permanent
Day Shift: Monday-Thursday 8:00-16:45, Friday 8:00-14:30 (40 hrs/week)
Night Shift: Monday-Wednesday 16:15-04:30, Thursday 16:15-21:00 (40 hrs/week)
- Pay: £18-£20 per hour DOE + 30% uplift for night shift
Shorterm Group is working with a long-established precision engineering company based in Andover, supporting key industries including aerospace, defence, oil & gas, power generation, and medical. With a reputation for exceptional quality and tight-tolerance machining, they supply to major OEM projects such as the B787, A400M, and A350.
We are currently seeking experienced CNC Turners to join their team, with opportunities on both day and night shifts.
🔍 Role Overview
Working on Doosan lathes with Fanuc controls, you will be responsible for the setting, operating, and programming of CNC turning machines in a low- to medium-volume production environment.
✅ Key Requirements
- Experience with Fanuc programming (editing/programming at the machine)
- Proven ability to set and operate CNC lathes
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings
- Ability to work to tight tolerances in a precision engineering environment
- Aerospace or regulated industry experience desirable
