Job Description
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a skilled CNC Turner to join our client’s thriving team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-quality, deadline-driven environment and has a strong background in CNC machining.

Hours: 37 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:
Set and operate CNC lathes to manufacture components to exact specifications
Interpret engineering drawings and machine programs (ISO and conversational)
Conduct first-off inspections to ensure product quality
Adjust offsets and tool coordinates to maintain precision
Perform preventive maintenance to keep machinery in optimal condition
Rotate between machines when required, supporting wider production
Ensure on-time delivery and maintain high standards throughout production
Skills, Experience, and Training Requirements:
Proven experience working with CNC machinery
Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances
Familiarity with various machine control systems
Ability to predict and prevent machining issues during production
Detail-focused with a commitment to accuracy and quality
Comfortable working to production deadlines without compromising standards
IT skills including basic knowledge of Windows and MS Office
Completion of a relevant craft apprenticeship and at least 5 years’ machining experience
Further education or certification in an engineering/manufacturing field
