Job Description
Our established client based in Crayford is seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join their team.
Salary: up to £20.00/ hr subject to experience
Hours: Full time - 40 hours per week
Overtime when required
Benefits: 30 days annual leave including BH, Xmas’s bonus, pension contribution, free parking & refreshments
The ideal CNC Turner candidate will be experienced and competent to program, set and operate a CNC lathe with driven tooling.
Experience with MAPPS/ CAPS preferred but not essential.
CNC Turner duties will be varied and include:
CNC Turner summary
* Able to produce precision components to AS9100 quality standards
* Read technical drawings with understanding of geometric dimensions and tolerances
* Use a wide variety of measuring equipment
* CNC Turning including Y Axis Driven Tooling
* Programmer /setter /operator – create, load, examine and modify CNC programmes
* Perform in process inspection operations
* Online Programming using MAPPS
* Experience with MAPPS /CAPS preferred but not essential.
* Ability to read and understand Engineering Drawings,
* Good knowledge of cutting toolsBefore You Apply
