CNC Turner
Location: CV30 Area
Hourly Rate: £21.50 + holiday pay
Hours: Monday to Thursday; 9pm – 7am
Contract Length: 6-month contract
Contract Type: LTD or Umbrella (inside IR35)
Start Date: ASAP
Syntech Recruitment is proud to partner with a forward-thinking manufacturer to find a talented CNC Turners for a 6-month contract.
You will need to be confident with Fanuc controls and be used to multiple tool changes and producing parts to tight tolerances.
CNC Turner responsibilities:
Interpret technical drawings and route cards to produce parts to exact specifications
Producing parts on Doosan Lathe’s
Read, understand, and edit CNC programmes, adjusting speeds and feeds as necessary
Use your knowledge of turning tips and insert selection to optimise performance
CNC Turner Experience:
Strong CNC turning background with proven experience on modern CNC lathes
Fanuc control knowledge is essential; Siemens 828D experience is a plus
Confident in reading technical drawings and inspecting work with gauges and micrometers
Ability to adjust programmes and tooling on-machine
