Job Description
Mazco Recruitment is looking for a highly skilled CNC Turner to join a precision engineering company on the night shift. This is a hands-on role for an experienced machinist who can program, set, and operate a CMZ TA-30-YS-640 fixed head lathe with twin spindles, Y-axis milling, and Fanuc controls.
You’ll be producing small batch components in a fast-paced, low to medium-volume environment, typically in quantities of 1–10 off. The ideal candidate will be confident working independently, with a strong understanding of machining best practices and a meticulous approach to quality.
Key Responsibilities:

Program, set, and operate a CMZ TA-30-YS-640 CNC lathe (Fanuc controls)
*
Machine a variety of materials including steel, aluminium, and stainless steel
*
Work independently from CAD and engineering drawings
*
Carry out first-off and in-process quality checks
*
Select appropriate tooling and work holding solutions
*
Maintain high standards of precision and finish
Requirements:
*
Proven CNC programming experience (Fanuc essential)
*
Skilled with fixed head, twin spindle lathes with Y-axis milling
*
Confident interpreting engineering drawings and CAD models
*
Strong knowledge of machining principles and cutting strategies
*
Experience in low-volume, high-mix production environments
*
Familiar with tooling and work holding best practices
*
Excellent attention to detail and quality control
*
Good communication and problem-solving skills
*
Flexible, team-oriented attitude
