NC Turner

Brighouse Area

PERMANENT

6-2 / 2-10

Our client, a large manufacturing business based near Brighouse have an immediate requirement to recruit a well versed CNC Turner.

Key Responsibilities:

Setting and operating for CNC Machines in the Company in-house machine shop

  * Setting and operating of single spindle CNC Machines

  * Inspection of colleague’s an one’s own work

  * Editing Fanuc controlled programs

  * Working within a team environment to achieve world class manufacturing

  * Ensure smooth transition between shifts

  * Strive to achieve improvement within the cell

  * Work to safe health and safety instructions

Skills/Experience:

  * Worked in similar environment / Industry

  * Be able to use engineering measuring equipment

  * Be able to read engineering drawings

  * Able to communicate effectively

  * Experience working with Stainless Steel and Exotic material

Ideal candidates will be apprentice trained engineers equivalent to NVQ Level 3

This is a permanent position where you will be expected to work a rotating early and late shift pattern.

Week 1 - 6am - 2pm Monday to Thursday & 6am - 11:30am on a Friday

Week 2 - 2pm - 10pm Monday to Thursday & 11:30am - 5pm on a Friday.

In return you can expect an hourly rate of £16.14 + 15% shift allowance (£18.56 per hour).

This equates to a salary of £36194 before any overtime.
