CNC Turner Contractor – Setter/Operator (Contractor) immediate start available
We are recruiting an experienced CNC Turner Contractor for a precision engineering company based in West Byfleet, Surrey.
This contract position pays approximately £22.00–£25.00 per hour depending on experience, working Monday to Friday from 7:30 am–4:00 pm, totalling 40 hours per week.
The successful contractor will be responsible for setting and operating CNC lathes and turning centres, manufacturing precision components from engineering drawings, selecting tooling, adjusting offsets, making minor program amendments and completing first-off and in-process inspections.
Applicants must have previous CNC turning and setting experience within a precision engineering or subcontract machining environment, be able to read engineering drawings, work to tight tolerances.
The contractor must be able to work independently, become productive quickly with minimal supervision and have the right to work in the UK.
