Job Description
Mazco Recruitment is partnering with a reputable precision engineering company to find an experienced CNC Turner with strong Fanuc control skills. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated machinist who takes pride in producing high-quality components and maintaining high standards in safety, accuracy, and workflow.
We’re looking for someone with a minimum of 5 years’ machining experience, ideally with a solid background in Fanuc-controlled CNC lathes, manual turning, and interpreting technical drawings.
Key Responsibilities
CNC & Manual Machining
*
Set up, operate, and monitor CNC and manual lathes.
*
Accurately perform roughing and finishing operations.
*
Ensure machine settings are correct and optimal before production begins.
*
Maintain precision and efficiency throughout the process.
Technical Expertise
*
Confidently read and interpret complex engineering drawings.
*
Apply correct machining techniques depending on materials used, with a strong focus on plastics.
*
Troubleshoot any issues quickly to keep operations running smoothly.
Quality & Inspection
*
Carry out in-process and final inspections to tight tolerances.
*
Identify defects and make corrections to meet customer specifications.
*
Document results and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Health & Safety / Workshop Standards
*
Adhere to all SOPs, safety protocols, and company policies.
*
Maintain a clean, tidy, and hazard-free work area.
*
Immediately report equipment faults or safety concerns.
Documentation & Reporting
Accurately complete job sheets and relevant paperwork.
Store records in accordance with company procedures.
Team Culture & Conduct
Promote a respectful, supportive team environment.
Show professionalism, reliability, and a proactive attitude daily.

Manual Stacker Operation (if trained)
You may also be required to operate a manual stacker for safe handling of materials and heavy loads.
