Job Description
Our client is looking for a CNC Turner – Setter/Operator to join our skilled machining team. You’ll be working on CNC lathes (Doosan and HAAS) using FANUC controls, setting and running pre-programmed jobs created by our in-house programmer. We’re open to discussing pay based on experience, and can discuss day, afternoon, or night shifts if you had specific requests.
Key Responsibilities:

Set and operate CNC lathes (Doosan and HAAS) using FANUC controls
*
Run pre-written programs and ensure smooth, accurate operation
*
Set tooling and produce first-off parts to spec
*
Perform in-process checks to ensure components meet drawing requirements
*
Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working area
What We’re Looking For:
*
Proven experience setting and operating CNC turning machines
*
Confident using FANUC controls
*
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
*
Skilled in standard inspection tools (micrometres, verniers, gauges)
*
Reliable, proactive, and quality-driven
