JRS Associates have partnered up with an exciting precision engineering company in Hinckley to recruit a skilled CNC Turner Setter/Operator. This is a great opportunity to join a growing team within their CNC Turning Department on a 4-day working week, Monday to Thursday.
The Successful CNC Turner - Setter, Operator - Package:
*
Salary: £16.77 per hour + shift allowance of £564.60 per month (£39,040.68 per annum)
*
Hours: 37 hours per week – 4 days (Mon–Thurs)
*
Shifts: Rotating fortnightly (06:00–15:45 / 15:45–01:30)
*
Holidays: Pro rata annual leave entitlement
*

The Successful CNC Turner - Setter, Operator - Requirements & Responsibilities:
*
Operate and Set CNC Turning machines
*
Apprentice trained preferred
*
Minimum 5 years’ CNC Turning experience
*
Experience with Fanuc and Siemens controls
*
Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
*
Tool setting and program editing
*
Use inspection equipment and perform self-inspection of work
*
Conduct TPM/basic maintenance on machines
*
Raise PIRs as required
*
Work to 5S standards and follow safe handling practices
*
Capable of working independently and taking initiative
