JRS Associates have partnered up with an exciting precision engineering company in Nottingham to recruit for a skilled CNC Turner – Setter, Operator, Programmer to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced machinist to join a modern, well-equipped engineering environment working on high-quality precision components for various industries.
The Successful CNC Turner - Setter, Operator, Programmer – Package:

Pay: £17.00 – £18.00 per hour (depending on experience)
*
Shift: Days, 39 hours – Monday to Friday
*
Contract Type: Permanent, full-time
*
Overtime available at premium rates
*
Excellent working conditions and long-term stability
The Successful CNC Turner - Setter, Operator, Programmer – Requirements:
*
Proven experience as a CNC Turner – Setter, Operator, and Programmer
*
Must be confident programming and operating HAAS CNC lathes
*
Strong knowledge of Fanuc/HAAS controls and ability to make tooling and offset adjustments
*
Experience producing precision components to tight tolerances
*
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and inspect own work using manual measuring equipment
*
A proactive and professional approach with excellent attention to detail
