CNC Turner – Setter, Operator, Programmer
Location: Barnsley
Pay: £17.50 – £19.00 per hour + 6% monthly bonus
JRS Associates have partnered up with a precision engineering company in Barnsley to recruit a skilled CNC Turner – Setter, Operator, Programmer. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a stable, growing business offering competitive pay, structured shifts, and a bonus scheme.
The Succesful CNC Turner – Package:

£17.50 – £19.00 per hour (£35,500 to £38,500 per annum)
*
6% performance bonus paid monthly
*
Overtime paid at 1.5x
*
Company pension scheme
*
Permanent morning and afternoon shift pattern
*
Long-term, secure position in a supportive team
The Succesful CNC Turner – Role Overview:
*
Set, operate, and program CNC lathes using Fanuc controls
*
Work with live tooling and produce high-precision components
*
Sliding head experience is a bonus (but not essential)
*
Machine a variety of precision metals to tight tolerances
*
Interpret and work from engineering drawings
*
Conduct in-process inspection and adjust programs as required
*
Contribute to a productive, safety-focused workshop environment
The Succesful CNC Turner - Will Have:
*
Strong experience as a Setter, Operator, and Programmer on CNC lathes
*
Confident using Fanuc controls
*
Experience with live tooling essential
*
Sliding head experience is a bonus
*
Background in precision engineering, ideally aerospace, automotive, or similar
*
Ability to work to tight tolerances and read technical drawings
