Job Description
JRS Associates have partnered up with an exciting precision engineering company to offer a fantastic opportunity for a skilled CNC Turner who wants to upskill and train externally on Star Sliding Head machines.
You’ll be working on Star SR32 and SB20 Sliding Heads, producing small batch, high-precision components across a range of premium materials including 13-8, 17-4, Titanium, 304, and S99 (no brass or copper work).
The Successful CNC Turner - Setter, Operator, Programmer - Package:

Total Salary: £36,600 – £38,650 per annum
*
26 days holiday + bank holidays
*
Sick pay scheme (after 6 months)
*
Statutory pension
*
Rotating early and late shifts
*
External Star Sliding Head training provided
The Successful CNC Turner - Setter, Operator, Programmer - Requirements:
*
Experienced CNC Turner / Sliding Head Setter, Operator, or Programmer
*
Experience with Star (SR32, SB20) or Citizen machines preferred
*
Strong programming knowledge (Fanuc-based control ideal)
*
Able to work confidently with steels, titanium, and high-grade alloys
*
Capable of setting, operating, and maintaining machines to a high standards
