CNC Turner Supervisor
UK BASED APPLICANTS ONLY
Contek are recruiting for a CNC Turner Supervisor to work a day shift in an established and very busy company in Bradford that have recently gone from strength to strength in all parts of their business.
This role will require you to lead a team of machinists in the Turning section where you will help run the daily activity of the workshop and also Program, Set and Operate a CNC Lathe working a variety of components for a variety of industries where you will machining low volume complex components.
Responsibilities;
* As a CNC Turner Supervisor you will be leading a team of engineers, be the point of call for any machining questions and offer your expertise in machining methods or processes.
* Experience as a CNC Turner - Programming, Setting and Operating lathes using Fanuc, HAAS or XYZ.
* Comfortable working to complex drawings.
* Experience working with low volume work with components varying in sizes.
* Ability to work alone and off your own initiative or as a team when needed.
* Allocate work load effectively to your team.
* Some inspection of components to ensure machining processes are being carried out correctly and efficiently by yourself and your team.
Experience required;
* Experience using Fanuc, HAAS or XYZ
* Apprenticeship served or a solid engineering foundation.
* Ability to program.
* Happy to take the lead of a team and delegate effectively and fairly.
* Ideally used to machining complex components
Hours:
Monday to Thursday
07:00 - 16:00
Friday
07:00 - 14:30
