Job Description
Pure Staff Ltd are currently recruiting for a CNC Turning Setter/Programmer, working for a Precision Engineering company based in Tewkesbury.
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals to join a well-knit team as a CNC Turning Setter
Duties for this CNC Turning Setter/Programmer role are as follows:
Set up, program, and operate CNC turning machine
Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Inspect finished components using precision measuring tools
Perform routine machine maintenance and ensure a clean, safe working environment
Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring equipmentEssential skills:
Time served or apprentice trained Machinist.
Experience of Fanuc controls
Team Player with good communication skills
Problem solving "can do" attitudeDesirable skills:
Experience of programming Fanuc controls
Experience of Doosan fixed head or star sliding head lathes
Experience of programming with fusion 360 or similar softwareHours of work for this CNC Turning Setter/Programmer Role:
Monday - Thursday
08:00 - 17:00
Friday
08:00 - 13:00
Pay for this CNC Turning Setter/Programmer Role is £17.50 - £20.00ph depending on experience.
This role is a temporary to permanent role for the right candidate. You will be based in Tewkesbury.
