Commercial Body Fitter / Fabricator (Coach Builder) – Nottinghamshire
Basic: Circa £50,000
OTE: £55,000+
Monday to Friday – 8:00am to 5:00pm
Overtime available at enhanced rateWe are recruiting for an experienced Commercial Body Fitter / Fabricator to join a busy and professional commercial bodyshop in Nottinghamshire. This position is ideal for a skilled, old-school coach builder who takes pride in high-quality workmanship and has strong experience working with light and heavy commercial vehicles.

Ongoing training and development opportunitiesWhat you’ll be doing as a Coach Builder / Fabricator:
Carrying out body fitting and fabrication work on light and heavy commercial vehicles
Strip and refit of commercial vehicle body components
Repairing and replacing panels, structural components, and bodywork
Welding, fabrication, and coach building tasks to restore vehicles to manufacturer standards
Working with workshop teams to ensure efficient turnaround times
Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high-quality finishWhat we’re looking for the Coach Builder / Fabricator role:
Qualified Body Fitter, Fabricator, or Coach Builder
Strong experience working on commercial vehicles (HGV, vans, or specialist vehicles)
Skilled in fabrication, welding, and structural body repairs
Experience within a commercial bodyshop or accident repair environment
Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
